I will be a Ph.D. Candidate in Economics at George Mason University this fall, as well as a Ph.D. Fellow within the Hayek Program at the Mercatus Center. My academic interests revolve around institutional economics, especially deepening our understanding of the way that informal and formal institutions inform one another. A historical example of this is within The School of Salamanca, and today, through movements like school choice. For as much as I love researching, sharing my love for economics with students has quickly become a joy like no other.
Currently, I work as the Director of Marketing for the largest publisher of leather-bound classics, Gryphon Editions, and research school choice through the Institute for Economic Inquiry. In my spare time, I enjoy teaching Confirmation class for a local Hispanic parish, running the Omaha trails, and road-tripping with friends.
My biggest professional role models are Tony and Theresa Jace (my wonderful parents).
